Anti-Fraud & Safety
Check local government and each operator during typhoons
A work-and-school suspension applies to attendance at covered institutions; it is not a blanket closure of every shop and transport service.
Travel question: Check local government and each operator during typhoons
Venues, railways and airlines issue separate operating notices, and typhoons are not confined to fixed months.
Why is this rule in place?
Wind, flooding, rockfall and outages can extend beyond announced areas.
What should travelers do?
Check DGPA, weather, accommodation, bookings and operators that day. Avoid coasts, rivers and mountains and follow evacuation orders.
Examples & Details
